Bob Eberle 16" x 24" Oil Painting Oil Painting of Brown County Award winning Indiana artist Bob Eberle painted this oil painting just outside Madison, in Jefferson County. After driving around a long time looking for a good spot, he suddenly looked behind him, and a scene that seemed mundane heading toward it just begged to be painted from the other direction. The sun was hitting the trees just right, giving the scene a nice glow. Value: $2400 |

Larry Spears Spears Gallery - 812-988-1287 A truly one-of-a-kind set, with precise attention to detail; this unique Spiked Tea Set is designed for function or as a great piece of hand-made art! All of the pieces are hand-thrown stoneware, with individually formatted wood-ash and crawl exterior glazes and a durable celadon liner glaze. The teapot and sugar bowl handles are hand-carved maple, and attached to the piece with re-purposed antique barbed-wire. The Teapot is approximately 8 ½width (including spout) x 9 ½ height (including handle); Sugar Jar is approximately 9 height (including maple handle) x 4 ½ diameter; Pitcher is approximately 5 (height) x 5 (diameter including handle) x 2 ½ (opening). All if the work is reduction fired to 2300 degrees F.

Randall Eckley Gourd - Five Suns Red Always liked 'English sunrise' transom windows. Also, I see the sun as an icon of native culture -- source of life and power. If one sun is good, five is better! I like doing straight lines on a curved surface. The resemblance to Japan's rising sun is unintentional but cool. I like using pure red on the gourds. Feng Shui suggests that this gourd should live in the northeast area of the new home. Work available at Ferrer Gallery. Retail value $200. |
